Thanks for submitting your information. Here are some more details around setting up a Circle account for your club or society.
If you already have your own Circle account...
Make sure you’ve Requested a Limit Increase under Settings > Account Limits. This will ensure we have all the information needed to enable this feature for you. If the option is not there, you have already requested an increase!
If you want to create a separate Circle account for your club...
You might want to use a unique account for your club, rather than using your personal Circle account. We can definitely help you do that, but please don't create a new account just yet! We’re working on a better solution, but right now, it’s pretty manual. Please bring this up when you talk with our team.
If you don't have any Circle account yet...
First, sign up! Our app is called Circle Pay, and can be found in both the Apple App store and the Google Play Store. You can also sign up on a computer by going to https://www.circle.com. After you sign up your personal account, please Request a Limit Increase under Settings > Account Limits. This will ensure we have all the information needed to enable this feature for you.
If you plan to use your university's bank information...
We will need you to verify that you are affiliated with the university. Please be prepared to provide one of the following:
- Your club’s bank statement (less than 6 months old)
- A letter from your college (Academic department, Finance, Administration etc) confirming that you are authorized to use the club’s bank account
- A letter from the bank addressed to you or the student club
- A direct email from relevant authorities at your school sent to email@example.com, indicating that you are authorized to use the Club’s bank account
Note: If you are using a European, non-UK bank account you will only be able to cash out to a linked bank account; you cannot use a bank account to add money to Circle. At the moment, our European customers can only add money to their account using a debit or credit card. For a list of supported cards, please take a look at our support article on the subject.
